What are the symptoms of GERD?

So since sunday I have had pain swallowing, and I feel like I have a pill in the middle of my breast bone. I have a burning sensation in my esophagus. I am not throwing up or anything like that. I went to see my doctor, and he gave me a antiacid. It is somewhat helping. I have an appointment for a UGI series xray next week to see if it is GERD. I am a 12 year old girl if that helps. Thanks!
And I know what GERD is/stands for. :)

Someone, Symptoms include Nausea, eventually vomiting, when bending over stuff comes up thru the throat, at night i have woke up chocking on the stomach contents, it got pretty bad for me, you should be alright catching ur’s early.
